One of the few bright spots has been 19-year-old Patrick Cutrone, and Gazzetta dello Sport believes he could start this weekend.

The youngster has made just nine starts in all competitions, but has managed six goals this season.

His statistics compare favourably to his fellow strikers, with Kalinic managing just four goals in 18 appearances.

Two of those game in September, the last time he scored at home, and the Croatian takes just 1.7 shots per game.

While he does make an average of 1.6 key passes per game, he only makes an average of 15.2 passes per match, indicating he’s not as involved in the play as Coach Gennaro Gattuso might hope.

André Silva has also been in poor form, despite managing six goals in six games in the Europa League.

In Serie A he has managed just four shots on target all season, none of which went in, across 10 appearances.

The 22-year-old also gets dispossessed twice per game, on average, while completing just one dribble.
