“We’re aiming for second place in the League and that means that the next three games are really fundamental for us,” the full-back told Milan Channel.

“We’ll have to go into these games with the same mentally that we’ve shown in the last few games.”

The Rossoneri, who have won nine and drawn three of their last 12 Serie A ties, will travel to Florence this weekend.

“We’re in good shape physically and we always manage to get our energy back quickly between one game and the next.

“We’ll have to be very careful going into Sunday’s game and try and make the least amount of mistakes that we can.

“We know what our strengths are and we’re turning into a really great team.”
