Multiple reports in Italy claim Milan have made an offer to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson on a free transfer.

The Rossoneri want to sign a new right winger in the summer and the 23-year-old is one of their targets alongside Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze.

Reiss’ Arsenal contract expires at the end of the month and according to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have made a formal offer to sign the Englishman on a free transfer.

Both media claim Reiss has already reached a verbal agreement to extend his contract with Arsenal, but Milan still hope they can persuade him to move to the Stadio Meazza.

According to Calciomercato.com, Reiss has taken time to assess all the offers on the table.

Chukwueze is another name high on the Serie A giants’ agenda. Sky Sport Italia reported on Tuesday that the winger’s agent met Milan chief scout Geoffrey Moncada who was promoted following Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara’s departures.

Chukwueze is expected to leave Villarreal in the summer as his contract expires in June 2024, but many other clubs are also interested, including Real Madrid, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and West Ham.
