There are reports Milan are preparing a new “creative” offer for Carlos Tevez after Inter met with Manchester City.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claims Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani had lunch with agent Kia Joorabchian today in Brazil and by this evening they will present a “creative” proposal to City directors.

Milan had been adamant they would only take the striker on loan, but may well be seeking other alternatives to tempt them into the move.

It’s rumoured this would represent a similar deal to the one that has taken Alberto Aquilani from Liverpool to Milan.

Essentially, it is a loan with obligatory buy-out clause if he plays 50 per cent of the official games from here to the end of the season.

The Gazzetta also claims Tevez joined in with Galliani and his agent in a video conference call with City.

"I am confident that soon Milan and City will reach an agreement," Koorabchian is quoted as saying.

The San Siro giants have stepped up their attempts to sign Tevez after news Inter sent director Marco Branca to England for negotiations with Manchester City representative Brian Marwood today.
