It was believed he had agreed a deal with Swiss outfit FC Luzern, but this evening Serie B club Padova announced Milanetto had joined them and will be presented to the media tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the fans have reacted to Milanetto's open letter thanking them for his five years at Genoa.
