Milan youth team prospect Isaac Akuetteh has now awoken from a coma after a serious incident last week.

The 15-year-old Ghanaian was struck by a train last week whilst riding a bicycle and was rushed to a hospital in the province of Como in a critical condition.  

Milan’s official website have today reported that the youngster has provided positive news in regaining consciousness stating: “For his family the awakening of the young Rossoneri is news that provides much hope.”

Akuetteh, despite being only 15-years-old is seen as an exciting talent for the future. The striker scored an impressive 21 goals in 17 appearances for Milan’s youth team last season and was expected to be fast-tracked to the senior squad within the next few years.
