There are reports Milan will only purchase Tiemoue Bakayoko outright from Chelsea for €25m and not the original €40m agreement.

The Rossoneri paid €5m to take him on a one-season loan and have an option to buy in June 2019 for another €35m.

However, Tuttosport suggest his performances have been too poor to warrant such a large spending spree.

Instead, they are demanding a discount of at least €15m on the original price-tag.

Chelsea had wanted €40m in total because that is how much they shelled out to Monaco in the summer of 2017.

So far this term, Bakayoko has been given 12 appearances for Milan between Serie A and the Europa League, but many of them were down to an injury crisis.
