Milan continue their interest in taking Eliaquim Mangala on loan from Manchester City with option to buy, but face competition from Valencia.

The 25-year-old France international has become notorious for defensive errors since arriving from Porto for €30m two years ago.

He does not seem to be a part of new Coach Pep Guardiola’s plans, so is available on the transfer market.

According to the Daily Star, Milan are in the race to pick Mangala up on loan with an option to buy for €18m.
