Milan are looking to tie Franck Kessié to a new contract, reports suggest, after a good start to the season.

The 21-year-old only joined the Rossoneri in 2017, but he has two goals and an assist this season and should only improve.

Kessié’s current contract expires in 2022, but calciomercato.com reports that the Diavolo are working on a renewal.

The Ivorian’s salary will be raised from the current €2.2m, in part to deter interested clubs and in part to assure the player of his importance at San Siro.
