Milan have reportedly rejected the first €30m offer from Paris Saint-Germain for midfielder Ismael Bennacer.

According to le10sport.com, the Ligue 1 club has already made a proposal for the Algeria international, only to see it turned down.

It is not enough to put them off, as PSG and Leonardo are determined to bring in the former Empoli talent.

The Rossoneri paid €16m to get Bennacer from Empoli last summer, having already agreed terms before he was named Player of the Tournament as Algeria won the African Cup of Nations.

He has made 23 competitive appearances for Milan this season, contributing one assist, but above all quickly became a key figure in their midfield.

Even doubling that cost is not enough to tempt them into a sale, as it seems PSG will have to pay at least €40m for the 22-year-old.
