"Mario has signed for five years, but if they were to sell him we would be there."

Asked about Milan's needs in the January transfer window, Galliani said: "If there is a chance, a striker will arrive. We are covered in all the other positions.

"If possible we'll find a striker to replace Pippo Inzaghi. Otherwise we'll stay as we are.

"Whoever arrives must be similar to Inzaghi also in terms of characteristics because we need a player like this."
