According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milan have raised their offer for Marcus Thuram and more sources claim they are confident of beating PSG to sign the France international.

Thuram appears to be Milan’s priority target to strengthen their attack following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s retirement. Thuram is available as a free agent as his contract expires on June 30.

In Saturday’s printed edition of Tuttosport, Journalist Antonio Vitiello wrote that Milan have raised their salary offer for the France international.

Several other clubs, including PSG, Barcelona and RB Leipzig, are said to be interested in the son of Serie A legend Lilian, but the Ligue 1 giants are seen as the most dangerous opponent for the Rossoneri.

As per Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri are increasingly confident of signing the 25-year-old as, contrary to PSG, they can offer him a central role in their project.

The Ligue 1 giants have still not chosen a new coach for next season, while Milan will continue with Stefano Pioli in 2023-24.
