Milan are closer than ever to Andrea Belotti by offering to spread the €80m cost over two years, as Nikola Kalinic is put on the back-burner.
The directors from the two clubs met today and, according to the latest reports from Toro.it, the Rossoneri had a new proposal.
Their idea would be to take Il Gallo on loan at a cost of €20m with obligation to buy in a year for another €60m.

It’s true this would be below the €100m release clause (valid only for clubs abroad), but close enough to the asking price that it’s making Torino think very carefully.
Belotti has never disguised the fact he supports Milan and has done since childhood, so this transfer would be a dream for him.
It would also give the striker guaranteed regular playing time ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
At the same time as these Belotti reports emerged, it was suggested that Milan have postponed a crunch meeting with Fiorentina for Kalinic, as the Italian is clearly their first choice.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are pulling out of the running for Belotti, having put all their eggs in the Alvaro Morata basket.
