A long list of death threats and other insults have been sent to Christian Pulisic after the explosive battle between Lazio and Milan.

The two sides fought in one of the tensest games in recent memory at the Stadio Olimpico in Friday evening, a match that saw referee Marco Di Bello brandished three red cards to the hosts across the 96 minutes, sending shockwaves of rage around the Stadio Olimpico.

Pulisic was at the centre of controversy when he came together with Luca Pellegrini after an apparent foul on Valentin Castellanos, which saw him tangle with the Lazio man before being brought down. Pellegrini was sent off a result of the incident.

Calciomercato.com details how a number of furious Lazio fans have been sending death threats and other reprehensible insults towards Pulisic, with some Milan fan pages trying to collect all those involved in the acts.

Examples of the disgusting language sent to the American winger include “die of cancer you piece of sh*t, maybe you’ll explode with your family”, “I don’t wish you to die, but instead suffer slowly every day” and “you should spend all your money on medicine, your mother is dead.”

  1. I’m surprised you’ve not given light to Pioli’s masterplan last night. With the opposition down to ten men and Milan seemingly not looking like they’d score, Pioli decided to use his last two substitutions to bring on two centre backs 😂 All these years watching football, this is the first time I’ve seen a coach change his two centre backs when what he needed was a a goalscorer.

  2. This match was a complete farce! Where would the Milano teams be without their Twelth Man ..THE REFEREE!
A referee now suspended for a month for his amateur , dubious performance.
