Milan are reportedly ready to offer Mike Maignan a new €5m-a-year contract, but Chelsea and Bayern Munich are said to be interested in the France international.

Maignan’s Milan contract expires in June 2026 and the Rossoneri are preparing to meet the goalkeeper’s entourage to discuss a new deal for the 28-year-old.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Serie A giants are ready to offer the France keeper a new €5m-a-year contract plus add-ons.

This would make him the club’s highest-paid player alongside Rafael Leao, who signed a new €5m-a-year deal in 2023.

The Rossoneri haven’t yet made an official offer, but are said to have informed the goalkeeper’s entourage about their plans. According to the report, both parties want to reach an agreement, but Maignan expects a higher salary, possibly in the region of €8m per season.

Surely, the France international isn’t short of suitors given that both Bayern Munich and Chelsea are monitoring the Rossoneri star. Calciomercato.com claims Milan value Maignan at nearly €100m.
