Divock Origi has returned to group training and will be available for tomorrow’s derby della Madonnina against Inter, reports in Italy claim.

Origi missed Milan‘s 0-0 draw at Sassuolo on Tuesday due to a muscle issue and has only played 30 minutes in Serie A so far this season.

However, according to Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia, the ex-Liverpool striker has returned to group training and will is recovered for the match against Inter tomorrow. The Belgium international is expected to start on the bench.

According to Gazzetta, Rebic isn’t fully fit yet, so he is expected to miss the game tomorrow. He had already sat out of Tuesday’s goalless stalemate in Reggio Emilia.

Origi didn’t train with the rest of the team during the pre-season due to an injury he had sustained in the final part of 2021-22 with Liverpool.

He joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer after his contract with the Reds expired.

The 27-year-old scored 41 goals in 175 appearances with the Premier League giants.

Stefano Pioli will address the media on the eve of the derby at a press conference at 1 pm UK time today.
