They tried to haggle for a discount and are now playing the waiting game, hoping to rely on Taarabt’s desire to leave London so they can lower the price.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani will meet with agent Kia Joorabchian on Tuesday.
The offer to QPR is believed to be worth £3m (around €3.75m) with a percentage of any future sale owed to the English club.
Taarabt has only one year left on his contract.
