“The club is not trying to get rid of Niang,” Moussa Ndiaye insisted in an interview with FootMercato.

“I’ve spoken with the hierarchy of the club and I was never told to look for another club. The club promotes patience, and they’re happy with his behaviour this season.

“Niang is aware that’s he’s made some mistakes which have tarnished his image and his reputation.

“He just wants to work hard to earn his place at a prestigious club, where the demands are very high.”
