Milan are thought to be turning their Brazilian sights to Ganso's teammate at Santos, Danilo.

It is well known the Rossoneri were in negotiations with the club to sign trequartista Paulo Ganso, but that move does not seem likely to go through until at least January.

Instead, it's now claimed in the Gazzetta dello Sport that they have been impressed by his teammate Danilo.

A powerful and attacking right-back, the 19-year-old has been compared to Inter's Douglas Maicon.

“I am enthusiastic at the idea of joining Benfica as my first European club, partly due to the language,” Danilo told Portuguese newspaper Record.
