Milan found success with their signing of Fikayo Tomori in January 2021 and they’re hoping to repeat that deal with Tottenham for Japhet Tanganga.

The Rossoneri are looking for reinforce Stefano Pioli’s backline a little following the departure of Alessio Romagnoli and they’re big fans of the 23-year-old Englishman, who can play as both a centre back and right back.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are drawing up the right formula for a deal with Tottenham, keen to pick up Tanganga soon. Their main idea seems to be a loan deal with a buy option attached, exactly the formula that took Tomori from Chelsea to the Lombardy capital back in January 2021.

Talks have already been opened with Spurs and updates are expected soon as the two clubs keep in close contact. Tanganga is contracted to Tottenham until 2025 and missed a large part of last season due to a serious knee injury.

  1. Good young player. They should look into him if Conte does not trust.
