Vice-President Adriano Galliani has told Bryan Cristante that he’ll be rewarded financially if he proves his worth at Milan.

The Primavera midfielder turned 18 on Sunday and, a day later, put pen to paper on a professional contract with the Rossoneri.

The boy now tied to the club until 2018 is expected to be a part of the first team squad from next season onwards.

“I hope he does like Kaka who, in six years with us, signed six contracts,” Galliani noted. “Or Stephan El Shaarawy who has been given three contracts in three years.

“Kids will start on a kids salary, but their growth then depends on themselves.

“A place in the first team? Let’s calm down, patience is needed.”

Cristante is a midfielder whose preferred position is playing in front of the defence.
