Luiz Adriano is set to join Chinese side Jiangsu Suning, but Stephan El Shaarawy is likely to return from his Monaco loan after the Ligue 1 side opted not to buy him.

In addition, Alessio Cerci has agreed a move to Genoa but the move is blocked by the objections by the Qatari investment fund which part owns him.

Speaking outside a Lega Serie A meeting, Galliani admitted to interest in El Ghazi, but hinted that El Shaarawy and Cerci would have to leave to make room.

“We like El Ghazi,” joint-CEO Galliani told assembled media.

“But if wingers don’t leave then we can’t do anything. Our transfer market is conditioned by departures.”
