Sky Sport Italia claim that the Rossoneri are interested in bringing the 28-year-old to San Siro, but may have to fight off advances from city rivals Inter.

The club's vice-President Adriano Gallini spoke with the player's agent this morning, with the intention of trying to persuade the set-piece specialist to choose the Diavolo over the Nerazzurri.

Catania meanwhile have tried to shrug off those claims, with reports suggesting that they will only sell in the summer, not January.

Lodi has been ever-present for the Elefanti this season, playing 19 League games and scoring four goals.
