Brazilian media believe Adriano Galliani will fly out tomorrow so Milan can sell Robinho to Santos for €7m.
There were already reports late on Friday that the gap between demand and offer had been reduced to just €2m.
Now Correio de Bahia maintain general manager Galliani will jet out to Rio de Janeiro on Sunday to continue advanced negotiations.
Milan’s original €10m price-tag in January was lowered to €8m this summer and it is believed the two clubs can reach an agreement for €7m.
Robinho has just one year left on his contract, but the sale would also allow the club to save money on his substantial wages.
The 29-year-old’s exit would then be used to fund a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
