According to ESPN, Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard as a free agent.

Lingard’s contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and the former West Ham loanee is not willing to sign a new deal with the Red Devils.

According to the report, Lingard is frustrated by lack of playing time at Man United and has already rejected a contract offer from the club.

The 28-year-old is determined to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season and Milan are among the clubs interested in securing his services in the summer.

However, the Englishman could leave Old Trafford even before as he may hand in a transfer request in the January transfer window.

Lingard wants to get regular playing time to have more chances to make it into England’s World Cup squad next year.

Gareth Southgate dropped him during the last international break. Lingard has only played five Premier League games this season, managing to score twice.

  1. Well we need a RW of quality and have missed that for years. Followers of EPL and lovers of Calcio/ACm, does his fit ACM? I am always and by default nervouse about Brits abroad and especially in Italy. Is he strong enough mentally to succeed in Italy?

I am not doubting his skills as a player.

  2. he will want a high wage and he is 28, he offers no real resale value so I don’t see this happening, plus if he is not good enough for Man U why should we want him, looks like another ramsey deal to me. no ty and gl
