The Colombian has a release clause of €35m, and the website believes that the Portuguese side have already identified Federico Santander of Guarani as a replacement.

One potential sticking point could be the Diavolo’s absence from European competition this season, with Arsenal also believed to be interested in Martinez.

The 28-year-old has scored 92 goals in 132 games since moving to Europe.
