Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has praised the ability of Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella ahead of this weekend’s San Siro clash.

“Montella is very good and he’ll have a great career,” the Rossoneri official commented.

“Montella gets his teams to play good football, the same brand that President Silvio Berlusconi likes and which, since 1987, took us to the top of the world.”

Montella was yesterday linked with a possible move to Milan next summer, but that is dependant on whether Milan are able to hire Pep Guardiola.

The latter is understood to be the club’s first choice tactician for 2013-14, but Galliani continues to deny claims that they are in talks with the Spaniard to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

“If I would have wanted Guardiola then I would have made contact with his agent,” the former Lega Calcio chief added.
