CSKA Moscow coach Aleksej Berezutski confirms Nikola Vlasic wants to leave the club but warns Milan that ‘he won’t do it for free.’
Vlasic has emerged as Milan’s priority target to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, who joined Inter as a free agent.
The Croatia international was left on the bench for the most recent CSKA Moscow friendly match, fuelling suggestions he is on the way out.

When asked about his future at the club, he replied: “I don’t know,” but his coach went into further details, confirming the 23-year-old wants to leave the club.
“Everybody knows the situation, Nikola has said many times that he wants to move on and join a bigger club, that’s normal,” Berezutski told RSport.
“However, his entourage and he must know that nobody will leave the club for free. The club is prepared to face his exit.”
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have offered €5m for the player’s loan and an option to buy in the region of €20 plus add-ons.
However, CSKA value the player at €30m and want to include an obligation to buy in the deal.
The 23-year-old is under contract with the Russian club until June 2024. Milan are the biggest spenders in Serie A so far, having already invested €60m in new signings.
