Milan have reportedly given up on Gedson Fernandes after being told the Benfica midfielder will cost €30m plus bonuses.

The Rossoneri had shown interest in the 20-year-old and Sky Sport Italia noted they had made enquiries.

However, both A Bola and Record in Portugal maintain the asking price of €30m plus add-ons scared Milan off.

They never took the matter further and are now looking at other transfer targets instead.
