According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan are ‘determined to return Bakayoko to sender’ as early as January.

The newspaper explains Gennaro Gattuso ‘doesn’t seem to consider the Frenchman suitable for Italian football or the Rossoneri’s game’.

Indeed, the Diavolo Coach conceded in his last pre-match Press conference that the 24-year-old had been struggling to meet his tactical demands.

Chelsea paid Monaco €40m for Bakayoko in the summer of 2017 but was regularly criticised for his performances at Stamford Bridge.

He went on to join Milan on a season-long loan but, despite playing both of their Europa League games in full, has seen just 80 minutes of Serie A action.
