Recent reports suggest Chelsea are showing interest in Badelj for the mid-season window.

This has sparked some tension in the Rossoneri camp, as Coach Vincenzo Montella is determined to reunite with his former pupil.

According to La Nazione newspaper, Milan are ready to present the first formal offer to Fiorentina for Badelj.

The club is expected to complete its takeover by a Chinese conglomerate in mid-November, which would significantly boost their financial capabilities on the market.

Milan already signed Mati Fernandez from Fiorentina on transfer deadline day, but he sustained an injury straight away and is still waiting to make his debut.
