Milan fans have spotted Fikayo Tomori’s reaction to a Franck Kessie miss during the Derby della Madonnina with Inter. ‘Tomori is all of us.’

The English defender was hanging back and watching the action unfold when the Alexis Saelemaekers shot cannoned off the base of the upright, then fell at the feet of Kessie, who blasted the rebound wide.

Eagle-eyed supporters saw Tomori in the background sink to his knees and pound the turf in frustration at the missed opportunity.

Tomori had already impressed the fans by celebrating wildly for the equaliser, even though he never touched the ball and it came off Stefan de Vrij.

The game with city rivals Inter eventually ended 1-1 at San Siro.

  1. Milan has needed players like him for a long time – people who believe in the team and want to be there. If they can find a midfielder that has the same passion to replace Kessie then Milan will do well for the next couple of years.

  2. That’s just Kessie’s languid style. But cause of the contract dispute it makes him look like he’s not committed. Each player has their own style, but you reap what you sow! Tomori earn’s praise for his committed approach. Watch, Kessie will sign a quadsquillion deal to stay at Milan now. 😆

  3. No he won’t, Kessie will sign nothing and leave on a free. It’s a shame but he’s not worth anything near what he’s asking for, so if others will pay him what he wants, then good luck to him. We should have sorted out the situation earlier but what’s done is done.

Tomori, what a player, and great to see such passion from him. I hope he is happy here, continues to perform, and goes on to sign a good contract extension when it’s due.
