Milan will be receiving the €85m expected from the new Chinese ownership next week, say reports.

This summer's agreed takeover of the club came with a promise to pour €100m into the Rossoneri coffers over the first year, €15m of which have already been sent over as an advance.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the remaining €85m won't have to wait until the deal for the sale of Milan is officially closed and ratified in November.

As the bureaucratic processes are going smoothly, it is reported that the money could be paid into the club's accounts as early as September 9.

While that's too late to add any new signings to Milan's team, due to the fact that the market window is now closed, it is nonetheless seen as a crucial step in the transfer of the club's assets.
