Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists now is not the time to think about the January transfer window.

The Rossoneri are expected to bring in a new attacker after Christmas given that Antonio Cassano could be out for the next six months.

The Italian is recuperating at home after undergoing minor heart surgery in a Milan clinic on Friday morning.

“It’s too soon to be talking about the transfer market,” the Rossoneri official noted.

“For now we just have to concern ourselves with how Antonio Cassano is. After all, he’ll have a place in our team when he returns.”

Galliani yesterday admitted that the club would probably look to bring in a new striker on a loan deal in the New Year.

Catania’s Maxi Lopez and Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella have been paired with the San Siro giants over the last week.

Both players would also be eligible to play in the Champions League should they be signed by Galliani and Co at the start of 2012.
