Now that Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race for Carlos Tevez, Milan are considering Roberto Soldado as an alternative.

The Rossoneri confirmed they agreed terms with the player, but are still waiting for a response from Manchester City over their free loan with non-binding option to buy proposal.

PSG have intercepted the talks in order to make a cash offer to City, so Milan may well have to look elsewhere.

It’s reported the alternative is Valencia striker Soldado, who like Tevez would be ineligible for the Champions League.

The 26-year-old has played for Spain at every level since the Under-15 team and joined his hometown club Valencia from Getafe in 2010 for €10m.
