Juan Miranda seems unlikely to pen a new deal with Real Betis and Milan are reportedly confident that they can beat their competition to the Spanish left back.

The Rossoneri sent Fode Ballo-Toure to Fulham on transfer deadline day, leaving them no time to bring in a replacement to act as cover for star left back Theo Hernandez.

Milan identified Mirada as a strong option in the summer and opened talks with his entourage to start sounding out a possible move, but didn’t pull the trigger on a deal.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, contract renewal talks between Miranda and Real Betis have not progressed positively, making a departure in the coming months an incredibly likely outcome.

Several clubs in Spain and Germany have registered their interest in the 23-year-old, but Milan are confident after the talks in the summer and believe they can secure his signature in the January transfer window.
