Massimiliano Allegri’s men have offered the capital club €3m for their Japan international, whilst Leonid Slutsky’s side are looking for €5m.

The paper however, believe that the midfielder could drop his wages from €2.5m per season to €1.8m in order to force through a move.

Honda’s contract at CSKA will expire in January, so can move to San Siro for free in the winter.
