Milan have moved quickly and almost closed for Carpi's Kevin Lasagna and Udinese's Piotr Zielinski.

The Rossoneri are keeping a low profile on the market, with no big names being signed yet but several players from lower teams being picked up.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the latest such name is that of Lasagna, who will join from Carpi for €6.5m plus the loan of Gianmario Comi.

Lasagna's agent Massimo Briaschi should be in Carpi today to define the last details of the deal, then the player's transfer can be completed.

Lasagna was also sought after by Napoli, Udinese and Bologna, but the club from Milan acted the fastest.

The Diavolo are also moving for Zielinski, as joint-CEO Adriano Galliani reportedly met Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo this weekend, in Ibiza.

The purpose of the visit was to try and close the deal, after weeks that the Zebrette have spent negotiating with various clubs.
