Milan continue to be linked with versatile players who can fulfil several roles, and the latest candidate is Napoli’s Eljif Elmas.
The 22-year-old North Macedonia international can play as a central midfielder, in a more advanced role behind the striker or on the left wing.
He was signed from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2019 for €16.2m, but never managed to get regular playing time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Elmas still managed to contribute seven goals and six assists in 46 competitive appearances for Napoli in the current campaign.
Many of those were in the Europa League, where he was given far more opportunities in the starting XI than in Serie A.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Milan have shown interest in Elmas and have asked for information on the price-tag of this player.
He is under contract until 2025, but Napoli are revamping their squad and trying to slice down the average salary.

Elmas!?
I’d take Zielinski or Mertens first
How about signing a right winger first.
