Dusan Tadic is reportedly very interested in joining Milan this summer, but negotiations with Ajax have not yet started.
The 32-year-old Serbia international can play in any of the three forward roles, but primarily attacks down the left wing.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Milan have approached Tadic’s agents and offered to double the salary he currently earns in Amsterdam.
His contract runs to June 2023 and he left Southampton for €13.7m in 2018.
Tadic scored 22 goals and provided 26 assists in 51 competitive games for Ajax during the 2020-21 season.
The report suggests Milan have not yet spoken to Ajax directly, as they first wanted to know if the player was amenable to a move.
The price-tag is expected to be in the region of €20-25m.
