Barcelona legend Luis Suarez believes that his former side must score early to have the best chance of defeating Milan this week.

The Catalans host the Rossoneri on Tuesday evening in the Champions League Last 16 second leg, 2-0 down from the first leg played at San Siro.

Suarez, who won six honours in as many years with Barca before leaving for Inter in the 1960s where he would then win two European Cups, believes that the current Blaugrana have a task on their hands to get through to the quarter-finals.

“It will not be easy for Barcelona. The 2-0 result is dangerous,” the 1960 Ballon d’Or winner told La Xarxa Radio today.

“Everything depends on the first half-hour, if Barca can score a goal. If they do then the tie will within their grasp and they will be able to play with more ease.

“Milan are dangerous, they are fit, physically good. Barcelona have their style of play and must continue with that, they cannot change their style for one game.

“The thing they have to do is see that everyone in the team has a great game.

“In these European Cup games you have to play to your death.”
