“Tomorrow we are called to show our maturity and this is a final exam after passing the test with Roma,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“The Viola play in a different way and are more concentrated than the Giallorossi. They don’t score as many goals, but they certainly concede fewer too.

“We will need a different approach to get the three points off them. We must be compact, tight, hungry and above all very sharp. Everybody must do their job to perfection both technically and tactically.

“I want to see consistency in our performance so we can continue to grow. Andrea Belotti must continue doing what he’s doing, as he is young and strong.

“Joe Hart is getting better every day and his grasp of Italian is really improving too. He makes himself heard on the pitch and talks to his teammates a great deal.”

Maxi Lopez is back in the squad after a strict diet, while Adem Ljajic “is 90 per cent recovered, but if possible I’ll try to avoid risking him.

“Fiorentina are accustomed to navigating in the top places of the Serie A table and we want to get there too.”

Mihajlovic is facing one of his former clubs, but insists he is not out for revenge.

“I had a splendid year and  a half in Florence and still have an excellent rapport with the club directors.”
