Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic insists the Coppa Italia is “an important goal” for Milan, who want to lift the trophy.
The Rossoneri face Crotone tomorrow at San Siro, and the tactician is insistent that his side will not be treating the cup lightly.
“The Coppa Italia? It’s an important goal, one which we must try to bring home,” Mihajlovic told reporters in his pre-match Press conference.
“We know it won’t be easy. When you’re at Milan you have an obligation to try to win every game.

“The Coppa Italia? It’s an important goal, one which we must try to bring home,” Mihajlovic told reporters in his pre-match Press conference.
“We know it won’t be easy. When you’re at Milan you have an obligation to try to win every game.
“I would like to see the same attitude as against Sampdoria, Crotone are an opponent who have all our respect, they play the same kind of game as [Vincenzo] Montella’s side [Samp].
“They’re a team high in confidence, because they’re fighting at the top in the table, they have good players and they’re well organised.
“We are Milan, and we have to play to win. If you lose here it’s a catastrophe. The Coppa Italia is an objective for us, because we’re not playing in Europe.
“These are the games where you have to stimulate the team, we have to work on motivation, because it will be fundamental.
“It comes down to the players to understand the important of the match against Crotone, and the Coppa Italia beyond that.
“They’re a team to be respected, they have good and intelligent players [but] if we play naturally we’ll win.”
Despite those declarations, the Serbian Coach did admit that there would be some changes from the weekend win over the Blucerchiati.
“It will be a competitive side, with total respect. They are Milan players, and they must prove that.
“There will be some changes, it’s important that in these games you show that you deserve this shirt.”
