On the eve of the game, Mihajlovic revealed he had showed a documentary of Diego Armando Maradona to his players, and specifically to Musa Barow.
“No one spoke of his humility, the fact that being Maradona he could afford not to do the defensive phase,” the Serbian tactician told DAZN.
Bologna kept their first clean sheet in 41 games.
“This makes it clear that, unfortunately, we can concede goals almost always and that we have to score one goal more than our opponents.
“We are not yet so mature to always close the games as we did today. Also because the big teams do it.
“I didn’t want to bring bad luck, but, but three days ago I said it was time to stop conceding goals.”
