Kevin-Prince Boateng’s agent says Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic will have the final say over whether his client returns to Milan.

The Ghanaian has been training with the Rossoneri since the summer, and is expected to sign for the club again when the transfer window opens in January.

“We’re still missing some small details,” Federico Pastorello explained to SportItalia.

“The hardest thing was finding an agreement with Schalke, because Prince had one more year on this contract.

“That situation created friction between the player and the German club, but we were able to resolve the situation in a positive way, and he’s now free to choose where to go.

“Milan welcomed him two months ago, giving him the opportunity to train with the team and find his match sharpness.

“He was at Milan before, he has a large tattoo with the Rossoneri Scudetto, so from that point of view Milan have remained in his heart.

“I don’t see other clubs that the Rossoneri, at least in the near future. When we asked if he could train, we asked [Adriano] Galliani and he got permission from the Coach [Mihajlovic].

“Sinisa was not opposed, he knew Prince’s history. At that time there was nothing more, we were just pleased to have the doors of Milanello opened to us.

“Beyond that, if Boateng signs with Milan it will be solely and exclusively after the OK from Mihajlovic.

“From this point of view, the will of the Coach comes even before the club.”
