Sinisa Mihajlovic used irony to comment on Bologna’s 1-1 draw against Torino: ‘We set a new record, failing to keep a clean sheet with no shots on target from the opposition.’

“We took no risks, it’s a pity because we would deserve more,” the Bologna coach told Sky Sport after the Rossoblu’s 1-1 draw away at Torino.

“I must say we set a new record, failing to keep a clean sheet with no shots on target from the opposition.

“Maybe, with a few more changes, we would have put them more in trouble but we had none.

"On the other side I’m happy for Torino who have not lost. I’m happy for the president, for the fans and for Giampaolo who is a friend and a great coach. I’m sure they’ll come out of this,” said the Serbian, a former Torino coach.

Is Angelo Da Costa to be blamed?

“Mistakes can happen, he needs trust. The lads never gave up, we created several goal-scoring chances and we could have won it. I’m happy for the performance and I’m happy Torino didn’t lose.

“I don’t like to talk about single players, but [Emanuel] Vignato played a good game, [Rodrigo] Palacio too,” he added.

“He is 35 but was still sprinting after 90 minutes, you have to admire him with his example and his moral principles.”
