Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani reportedly held talks about Milan, but Sinisa Mihajlovic won’t return.

The Rossoneri sacked the Serbian Coach earlier this month, promoting Primavera Coach Cristian Brocchi to replace him on the San Siro bench.

However, following a draw with Carpi and a defeat to relegated Verona, it appears Brocchi won’t have a long-term future with the Diavolo.

However, following a draw with Carpi and a defeat to relegated Verona, it appears Brocchi won’t have a long-term future with the Diavolo.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that President Berlusconi and joint-CEO Galliani had a long telephone call last night about the situation, but ruled out a sensational return for Mihajlovic.

The former Sampdoria boss is still under contract, and can’t take another Serie A bench before the end of the season, so it had been suggested he could return for the rest of the season.

However, Gazzetta is clear that no such move will take place, with Berlusconi stressing the importance of the last three games and the Coppa Italia final, as the Diavolo can’t afford to be out of Europe for a third season in a row.
