Sinisa Mihajlovic is aiming to win the Coppa Italia with Milan as “winning always helps you win”.

The Rossoneri face Serie B side Crotone in the competition tomorrow at San Siro, and the Serbian Coach is looking to go all the way.

“Winning always helps you win, even in single matches,” Mihajlovic explained in this pre-match Press conference.

“Then when you win a trophy it’s a great thing, because when you play it’s nice to have won a game. But then maybe when you retire you look at your medal collection and it’s a nice personal satisfaction.

“Football is only nice when you win.”

Mihajlovic also insisted that no player should feel as though they are guaranteed a place in his side.

“[Carlos] Bacca is not necessarily a starter, we also have Luiz Adriano who did well when he came on [against Sampdoria]. In a week or two [Mario] Balotelli will be back.

“[Jeremy] Menez will also come back. There are no fixed starters, everyone must feel like a starter.

“It depends on the games, and you can also change system within the same game, and change players according to the needs of the team.”
