The Policlinico Sant’Orsola hospital has released a statement saying that Sinisa Mihajlovic has been discharged following anti-viral therapy for leukaemia.
The Serbian was recently admitted into hospital as he continues his battle with the illness.
Mihajlovic therefore missed several of Bologna’s latest matches. However the hospital where he has been receiving on-going treatment throughout his fight with leukaemia issued a statement, relaying that the 50-year-old has been discharged.

“Mr. Mihajlovic was discharged this morning from the ‘Seragnoli’ Hematology Institute after seeing positive results with the scheduled anti-viral therapy.
“According to the health professionals who treat him, the patient’s condition is very good.”
It’s unknown whether the coach will be back on the Rossoblu bench for the game against Roma this weekend.
