However, Inzaghi's excellent start against Palermo, with a 3-0 victory, suggests that President Claudio Lotito may think twice about replacing him.
Inzaghi's father Giancarlo confirmed to the Corriere dello Sport that the current Coach is there to stay.
“He always dreamt of coaching Lazio, he's prepared and determined,” said the father. “He wants to Coach the Biancocelesti next season, too.
“He received many offers, but he loves the city of Rome.”
Much will depend on Inzaghi's results in the last six games of the season, but there will likely be some competition between the two Coaches over the summer.
